Following a reset to the OCC's ACR rule, which penalises older songs that stream heavily enough to make the chart, the 1985 hit is looking on course to claim a No.1 – 37 years after it peaked at No.3. So far it has clocked up 46,010 sales this week, and knocks Harry Styles' As It Was (34,153 sales) – last week's No.1 – to No.2. Cat Burns' Go holds at No.3 (24,170 sales), while LF System's Afraid To Feel jumps 13-4 with 21,930 sales. To complete the Top 5, Lizzo's About Damn Time sells 20,336 units. 

In the albums race, George Ezra's Gold Rush Kid looks set to claim the top spot, posting 37,386 sales in its opening week – 30,464 of those coming from physical. Last week's No.1, Harry Styles' Harry's House, is pushed to No.2 (14,094 sales), and Ed Sheeran's = to No.3 (7,396 sales). Chase & Status's sixth studio album What Came Before lands at No.4 (6,103 sales), while Post Malone's Twelve Carat Toothache (3,472 sales) completes the Top 5. The only other new entry to the Top 10 is BTS' Proof, whose 3,109 sales place it sixth.
