PoisonPill Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Becoming famous really is the ultimate curse. It makes everyone want to come after you and take you down.

StarsAllAligned Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Omg I love them and have been keeping up with their trial here and there and I’m shocked they were actually found guilty simply because I just assumed they’d get away with whatever. Also does that mean season 10 is now officially cancelled

Trying to cheat the system and lie to make it seem like you are richer than you really are for clout and fame is the reason these frauds are being taken down. It’s their own damn fault.
Mellark Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 I remember watching their show reruns in the gym, it was... interesting. It turns out Chrisley does not know best.
Breathe On Moi Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Omg wait I used to feel so judgy for thinking he was gay wtf I didn’t even know they were up for trial and now JAIL? 5 hours ago, StarsAllAligned said: Omg Also does that mean season 10 is now officially cancelled I’m sure there will be Jail visit specials and I doubt they’ll serve all the 30 years, probably like be in jail for a year or so and then they’ll probably get more reality tv shows.

It’s their own damn fault. That is quite possibly true. My point is that being in the public eye makes you more likely to be investigated and charged for criminal infractions that many average people don't get caught for. And yes, it also can make you more likely to avoid serious punishment, though courts will sometimes give a harsher punishment to a public figure to avoid the appearance of favoritism.
Arcadius Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Teresa and Joe were caught with $5 million in fraud and did a year each. $30 million is a hell of a lot more so they probably won’t get off as easy. I do feel bad for the kids.
