I have no real critiques, everything after Etemon Arc was perfect. It wasn’t 100% the Tai show like the reboot was ?. (Sakuyamon) Frontier was the best high stakes season but loses points when the rest of the crew only get beast spirits and never advance while Takuya and Koji go two levels beyond that. This. I mean, as a gay person, I was highly frustrated that Zoe did not get any other forms. Also, after Takuya and Koji got their higher forms, the rest of the cast were basically off screen. The actual writing is straight-forward and the transitions between sagas are sloppy but I love the unique "survivor" elements and the progressing maturity and darkening of the tone. I gotta admit that I didn't like Tamers back then but nostalgia has made it held up better than season 2, its main problem is the pace is so slow, once the devas started appearing it got better. Season 2 is nice mostly because of the evols of Veemon but it felt more like an extension from series 1. As for Frontiers, I never watched it in full, just some episodes here and there and that thing of the digimon fusing with the kids was a bit weird, although some of the digimon from that series were amazing like Cherubimon and Lucemon.
