Fries can actually very easily be BAD tho... like a nasty cold soggy one?  even the girlie McDonald's fucks it up sometimes. Whereas idk if I have ever had a bad experience with mash, nothing really jumps out to me. I mean sure there's lumps, but I'd deal with that as opposed to bad fries any day. With fries it's too much of a risk with what you're gonna get through, mash is the right answer!
