Who knows maybe one of these songs will go viral in 5 years like CFTS did years later. Getting hits is much harder these days if you're not the top 1% of current hit makers (Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Ariana Grande). It's all based on Tiktok now and who radio chooses to support, which is VERY unpredictable. I understand Demi isn't even charting unlike in dwtdtaoso, but it kind of makes sense since this music is more Alternative and underground, and promotion has been terrible. Anyway I really hope we get a deluxe edition or alternative covers to boost sales. It seems like the signed CDs and vinyls are doing GREAT b/c 15K signed copies and we still have weeks to go is incredible (they're obvi not making Demi sign more CDs than is absolutely needed). The deluxe edition should have a high profile collaborator. I think we should aim for 50K sales with streaming Demi is becoming more of an albums artist rather than hit maker, and I'm not mad at it.
