Genesis founder and musical genius Peter Gabriel plans to release new music in 2023 according to his drummer Manu Katché. Gabriel is also expected to tour in support for the album, which has been in the works for almost two decades now.

He was recently featured on Arcade Fire's new mid album WE, which prompted a lot of speculation regarding his comeback.

In the mean time, everyone should revisit the iconic music video for Sledgehammer

He’s the inspiration to Wildest Dreams (also Annie Lennox) according to Taylor Swift. :clap3:

I'm intrigued to hear the music, as the latest Genesis tour was an embarrassment for Phil.

I've been waiting for the new record for over 10 years. He better serve.

What happened? I didn't even know Genesis had a recent tour.

Phil has had severe health problems and he had to perform the entire show in a chair. He sounded great, though. I don't think it was quite at the embarrassing stage. It just lacked a lot of the athletic, upbeat feel that their past tours have had.

I think they’re currently still on it. Phil is just way passed his prime and is so frail now. I personally don’t see why they felt the need to do the tour when they’re a shell of their former self, but as long as people enjoyed it, I suppose that’s all that matters.

Okay I was expecting worse, like them being unprofessional. I don't know why Phil did it, is not like he needs money.

It's really dangerous to go on tour like this too, I can't understand why Phil risk it.
