Gabriel is also expected to tour in support for the album, which has been in the works for almost two decades now. He was recently featured on Arcade Fire's new mid album WE, which prompted a lot of speculation regarding his comeback. In the mean time, everyone should revisit the iconic music video for Sledgehammer

Cutthroat Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 I'm intrigued to hear the music, as the latest Genesis tour was an embarrassment for Phil.
The7thStranger Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 I've been waiting for the new record for over 10 years. He better serve.

Phil has had severe health problems and he had to perform the entire show in a chair. He sounded great, though. I don't think it was quite at the embarrassing stage. It just lacked a lot of the athletic, upbeat feel that their past tours have had.

Phil is just way passed his prime and is so frail now. I personally don’t see why they felt the need to do the tour when they’re a shell of their former self, but as long as people enjoyed it, I suppose that’s all that matters.

I don't know why Phil did it, is not like he needs money. 2 hours ago, Cutthroat said: I think they’re currently still on it. Phil is just way passed his prime and is so frail now. It's really dangerous to go on tour like this too, I can't understand why Phil risk it.
