Hobbes Posted June 5, 2022 Share Posted June 5, 2022 She's going to struggle finding success regardless of the quality of her material because she's alienated the majority of her LM fanbase and doesn't really have enough redeeming musical talent to forge a new one. Her Boyz performance became a meme (and not in a good way) and last year she got all of the flack for black fishing. She's in her Reputation era but without the massive fanbase to pull her through. It basically sounds like a LM5 leftover song that wasn't good enough to make the cut and it relied way too heavily on the sample. Overall it seems like she has a lot of yes-man around her. The way she burned her bridges with almost everything that had to do with Little Mix, turned off a lot of people who were willing to support her from the LM fanbase, only for a quick top 40 hit and controversy that made her look like a clown and made her label question her.
