Lady Gaga headlines Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show

Global superstar LADY GAGA, winner of six Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, and Academy Award nominee, will headline the PEPSI ZERO SUGAR SUPER BOWL LI HALFTIME SHOW on FOX at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017.

Watch Lady Gaga's Spectacular Super Bowl Halftime Performance:

Reaching back into her extensive catalog, the Grammy winner and American Horror Story actress snared 117.5 million viewers on Fox for her 13-minute performance at NRG Stadium in Houston. While Gaga started her spectacle at 8:13 PM ET, Fox has gauged the eyeballs on the self-described Mother Monster in the 8:15-8:30 PM ET as that’s obviously where the bulk of the pyrotechnics-rich show took place.

Still, a bit like the losing Atlanta Falcons last night, Gaga was close but no cigar to Super Bowl victory. The all-time most-watched halftime show remains Katy Perry’s 2015 performance at Super Bowl XLIX with its total TV audience of 120.7 million. That means last night was down about 3% from the show of two years ago at the University of Phoenix Stadium, where Missy Elliot and Lenny Kravitz joined the “Roar” singer.

For me:

Poker Face / Telephone

Born This Way

Paparazzi / Applause

Bad Romance

Perfect Illusion

If she has a guest, I want it to be Bruce Springsteen so I can get that Diamond Heart / Born In The USA mashup

I'd rather her give a slot to one of her amazing hits like Alejandro, Telephone, Paparazzi, You and I, or Applause rather than Million Reasons tbh. It's kind of a lost cause and this is a performance for her career, not for "promo" so I'd rather quality over promo in this case. million reasons does not fit in a setlist of her hits, all of her hits are dark, powerful pop songs that are relatively fast paced, I'd rather give the "ballad" slot to You and I, and the perfect closing will be The Edge of Glory, so I'd way rather give the million reasons slot to one of her classics.

On top of that, it is a pretty demanding ballad. She will be winded from all of the singing and dancing before it, and I don't think a 2 minute slot is really worth it. A song like Perfect Illusion, John Wayne, Dancin' In Circles, Diamond Heart or even A-YO! fits the style of her catalog way more and wouldn't need to be dragged out like million reasons and doesn't require as much of vocal demand/focus.
