Dua casually slays Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart"

Her voice is very throaty these days but her tone is nice and thrives when singing R&B/soul-lite music in her lower registerr.

she sounds amazing even though she was just messing around.

and even so she sounds way better than every current pop girl sans ari and rosalia

Is Giuliano just accompanying her everywhere on tour? If he is, why? I get they’re friends but it just seems like a random entourage when he’s got a lot of projects going on - is he paying his way and how? Or is Dua fronting him?

As casual as this was, she sounds lovely.

The breaks in her voice are cute too - she’s always had a relatively dark color & husky texture to her voice.

To be honest, much like Billie Eilish, Lipa would sound great on (certain) classic R&B ballads. I’d love her to cover “Breathe Again” or “Let It Flow”.

:loki:

I love both of their voices. Those covers would be a great idea!

Absolutely.

”My Future”, and several other songs on ‘Happier Than Ever’, proved to me that Billie Eilish would sound amazing on moody/sultry R&B songs.

Imagine her on songs like “Come Back To Me, I Get Lonely, Feels So Right”?

:jonny5:

I can easily hear Dua Lipa singing several Toni Braxton and Janet songs too.

Why are people on this forum so... dense? Talking about hitting notes and she's just singing with her friends in the car. :deadbanana4:

Sounded good.

I think people on this forum don't ACTUALLY know what good singing sounds like.

She's s queen, joking around and sounding angelic.
