Marilyn Manson sexual assault case to be dropped

And some ACTUALLY think victims were at an advantage before the Depp v Heard case. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The reality is that it takes an insurmountable amount of evidence for cases like this to move forward, and now the need standard is that you need to prove your claims in a court of law to be believed, which will deter many victims from coming forward. What's the point if people won't believe them.

This is the only quote I keep people sharing to rationalize their hate for her and convince themselves that he is a victim. It’s disturbing how this out of context quote seems to trigger people more than Depp saying he wants to burn and rape Ambers corpse.

and you're a bigger idiot if you think Depp's case won't affect how society view DA victims and set precedent that high powered abusers can use the courts to silence their victims.

except that in that case, Amber Heard was the abuser and the victim - Johnny Depp, got justice against his abuser

What a great year this has been for men. :clap3:

  • None of the men named in association with Jeffery Epstian abusing girls and young woman have been charged with any crime, and the only person put in jail was a foreign woman.
  • Multiple male abusers nominated for Album of the Year, arguably the highest award at the Grammys. In previous years, most would not be eligible, but the Grammys changed the rules so that more people could be nominated (no longer a 33% playing time requirement) and the Grammy president even expanded the field to 10 nominees which helped more abusers (e.g. Marilyn Manson featured artist on Donda) get a nomination.
  • Elon Musk accused of exposing his ***** to SpaceX flight attendant and people don't believe the woman, despite the fact that the company paid $250,000 for her silence.
  • Johnny Depp wins libel case against Amber Heard after her 2018 Washington Post op-ed revealing herself as the victim of domestic and sexual abuse.
  • Marilyn Manson unlikely to face sexual assault charges, despite multiple sexual assault allegations over the years, including physical, psychological, and verbal abuse, rape, domestic violence, and battery.

Bonus from 2021, Bill Cosby freed on a technicality after two years of his jail sentence, following multiple rape and sexual assault allegations from more than 50 women.

And there's still people (men AND women) that argue that men (specifically white) actually are unfairly treated...
