I started reading the book over the last week, but I could barely get through the chapters so I started skipping around a bit to see if the writing gets better but it never seems to...the biggest issue is how extremely unlikeable pretty much every character is, specially the main guy has this extremely negative inner monolouge where he puts everyone down, specially Henry. And it's sooo tiring to get through after a while. And when I skipped forward I found cringe scene after cringe scene. Eventually I just decided not to finish it.

It doesn't help that it is literally borderline fan-fiction I wanted to finish it but I might just wait for the movie to come out.
