Agree that Hold Up should have been a single !!!!

 

The biggest mistake is pushing Million Dollar Baby and trying to chase US success

 

I would pick these songs as singles in this order:

1. MYTP (the song with most GP potential)

2. Ghost (the song that could be a hit in UK and Europe)

3. Last Night on Earth (ballad-ish)

4. Hold Up (Wait a Minute) remix f. a female rapper (like Coi Leray or Ice Spice)

5. Weapon

2. Diamonds & Dancefloors

3. Get Outta My Heart

4. Last Night on Earth

5. Dancing’s Done

She fumbled this era hard but I really don’t thinks she cares tbh. I like Ava’s music a lot because it does that cheesy europop sound really well but she’s very lazy as an artist. She rarely puts in the work

That being said I still think Not Your Barbie Girl should have been promoted to go viral on TikTok, and is the biggest chance for her to have a hit this era

Love you suggesting GOMH as a single because I whole-heartedly agree that is a hit waiting to happen. This definitely is a Halloween album as confirmed by the original fall release. Her music videos are a hit or miss. MDB was good but she really needs to drop the camp aspect that makes her brand come off as really cheap. With proper and a polished execution she is a superstar for example the MHMH video. Y'all need to remember that the era was derailed by her lead single underperforming, the label delaying the album release, the album leaking, lack of proper promo and her having no management it's crazy that ya expected her to have a proper era. She's currently on tour and we having new music coming up. She has new management. Let's see how her next rollout plays out.

Once again lol she's made it very clear that this album has been ready to go hence the original fall release date. The leak, album release delay, having no management amongst other variables affected the rollout of this album.

Serban did the mixing of the album/original version of the track released on streaming/digital platforms. The CD and vinyl versions include 4 songs mixed by Tom Norris instead of Serban Ghenea, "Ghost" being one of them. The sound of Tom's mix of "Ghost" is far better than the one on streaming by Serban.

The way that this 3 were so instant and obvious single standouts from the album and they did nothing with them. I'm hoping with Scooter managing her we get more music and better promotion. Her being at the Met Gala and on the Barbie soundtrack is a start
