Hey ATRL! I started posting short videos for fun and I titled it as "Living Alone in the UK". I enjoyed doing it. I want to know what's your opinion about it? What's good? What's bad? What should I add? Here is the latest one:

It fits with the daily-life / minimalistic / aesthetic vlog community.  Your music choices are soothing but try to lower the volume in future videos otherwise it can distract from what you are doing.  You want the music to be a background relaxing tool, unless you are using music during transitions and time-lapses in which case it can be at the forefront.  Overall you are on the right track with the editing, shots, and atmosphere.  Keep going.

The sad music the first 2 and a half or so minutes didn't really add anything to the video imo. The shot from inside the laundry was good, but at the end of it you could see that you looked at the camera and were going to grab it (or at least it looks like it), which kinda takes us out of the illusion a bit but, again, it was a nice shot. There are some shots which were also cool, and it's always nice to get many different angles. Overall i'd say it's a really cute video

very ambient, i'm glad you enjoy it

It's important to know how to do your laundry, you should add some tips for your viewers! And I like the addition of a melancholic background music to emphasize the sensation of loneliness suggested by the title. Make sure to show us some pictures you've taken with your new camera in the next video. Keep it up, you're doing a great job!

It's relaxing, i know some people LOVE this type of content. I think it's nice

*I would have called the video "Seeing my cozy small world through a new lens while enjoying my solitary living"

**name drop the product in the description and/or tags not in the title

***drop the sad music, look for something neutral or on a happier note, or even ditch music all together and let your activities sound trigger the asmr crowd.

Good video and nice camera work. Was the sad song in the beginning intentional? Just felt a bit sad because of it. If that was your goal then keep at it. If not, maybe change the music?  The music in m other parts of the video were more neutral and Less depressing. Otherwise keep up the good work

Overall I find the video interesting and I would watch a follow up video.

Music

-The sad music while pouring the Starbucks is a little funny.

-The music can be a little softer so you can hear the ambient noises more clearly (E.g. bottle cap opening, liquid pouring).

-The music could be neutral with some parts being happier and sadder but without the change being too jarring. Overall the music is a little too sad.

Cinematography

-The shot from inside the washing machine is a little funny because we obviously know you will remove the camera before starting the machine. Otherwise the scenes are fine.

Title

-The video title could also be changed to suit the current You Tube aesthetic of solitary living (not lonely), clean, minimalist, efficient.

Thanks for the idea! Yeah it's nice to have continuity between videos. I'll do that!
