not Kesha being left off the credits when she has the best verse and is the biggest celebrity here wtf :rip: like it's her featuring a bunch of gay flops

she's also the main vocalist of the last two choruses :rip: makes no sense

Why is Kesha not credited when she basically sings the second half of the song? :deadbanana4:

kinda bummed that Patricia Arquette is taking up Kesha's spot. I don't understand that choice at all. I know Kesha has been off people's radar for a while but isn't she still the biggest celeb involved?

This is really...weird.

She is listed as "special guest" in the video description.

She's also credited in the end credits of the video.

Yet, she is not on credited on the song itself at all (at least on Spotify) :rip:

It looks like she might have been added spontaneously to the song and that's why she isn't credited because she did not appear in the social media teasers for the song and she posted a picture of the video shoot which is only 3 weeks old, making it seem like she wasn't originally supposed to be on the song.

This will be cringeworthy af :ahh:

The song is out already and it's a bop.

MNEK is not credited too and he sings the first verse. Her team probably just doesn't want to attach her name to the song, just the ad.

He is credited on Spotify, only Kesha isn't.

In all cases, it’s most probably her decision. It’s clear the she signed up to be a ‘special guest’.

I've read two theories that could explain it...

  • She wanted to lend her voice in a "special guest" capacity to support an LGBTQIA initiative and didn't want to associate herself/her brand with the ad (for a multitude of reasons, professional or personal -- two of her friends recently went sober from weed, this could be a move of solidarity by distancing herself from the promotion)
  • She has new music dropping soon and didn't want her feature to overshadow it.

In any case, I don't think this is label/Luke fuckery. I know it's the easy thing to jump at but maybe she truly only wanted to sign on as a "cameo." In all likelihood, with her being the biggest star in the lineup, her fee could have been too big for a full feature spot hence why she's only a guest.

she was a last minute addition to the song (it was originally going to be demi lovato), but it was also her choice to not be credited on the song. it's not really a conspiracy.

Okay wow didn’t expect this to bop so much. Can Kesha please release songs like this for K5?

Do you have any idea why she’s credited now?
