I liked it, it reminded me of her really old videos that had a peculiar visual/cinematography style. It was definitely a more challenging watch and darker theme than her videos from the last few years. I think the overarching theme is that people in pain cling to things like drugs, religion, etc. but each come at differing costs. Her character dialogue videos can be nice but I think her video essays dissecting a human nature topic (like Envy, Cringe, etc.) are still her strongest suit. One critique I have in that vein is that she herself and her viewpoints are captivating enough to watch already, I feel like she doesn’t really need to have exaggerated characters act out themes.

The scene where she first drinks the potion was really well done, it was like a horror movie.

This video was something else. Truly a work of art. I can see why it has taken so long/why it's been such a trial.

It's very autobiographical and for that reason the dominant feeling I have after watching it is, god, I hope she's ok. I hope she has people in her life who look after her.

This is much harder to watch compared to "Envy" (which is still my fav Youtube vid ever) due to its darker themes, but I appreciate all the costumes and set designs she put into it :gaylorcat1:

And it cracked me up when the "liberal" character opens a bag of Doritos as I was also snacking on chips while watching :eatpopcorn:

Luv it, not her best and what I expected but it was still entertaining! What took the good sis so long to upload new video tho?

This is interesting as a perspective to me because this is very much like her old video style, so much so that there are multiple character references to them peppered throughout as well.

This video is a lot more (aesthetically) refined than say, Tiffany Tumbles or some of her other old, deleted/de-listed videos, but as an old time viewer I felt it tread a lot of familiar ground at times.

I also agee with you that her video essays/monologues on a certain topic/theme are a lot more powerful (even if I think she's veering a bit towards centrist talking points recently), mostly because these self-conversational videos can sometimes be abstract, relying a bit too much on implications/para-text. A sort of first-time viewer would be a bit confused and left out over a lot of these sections, so I am curious how that reaction will be like.

I personally think Gender Critical, Cringe and Men are her best three videos.

Also really enjoyed The West, Jordan Peterson take-down and Opulence.

Holy **** that was amazing and very intense. I'll probably need to watch it a few more times to fully digest it.
