Buddy Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 As someone who worked in Calabasas 2017-2019, there were no homeless people for miles where Kim lives in her little enclave. Also, there is no petty crime, albeit white collar.
Lucid Dreaming Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 She's not even rooting for Caitlyn? (If the candidacy was real)
imabadkid Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 iirc he was a republican... then independent... then right before he ran conveniently registered as a democrat.
sugarysunflower Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 If she doesn’t endorse anyone in politics because she’s not about the politics …… why has she done a U-turn all of a sudden?
Freakshowvato Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 This is not it, especially given the things we know she cares about.
Freakshowvato Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Literally she just wants a tax break… I don’t understand how people with over 100M still care about money… some pop stars come to mind as well…. Like you’re never gonna even use all that money….

Bosque Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 (edited) Not surprising given that crime rates are soaring, with vehicle thefts, armed robberies, unregistered guns, drive by shootings, and homicides all up sharply - meanwhile prosecution rates are plummeting, with only 50% of felonies being prosecuted. Democrats have gotten too comfortable in California. Edited May 28, 2022 by Dephira

Calabasas/Hidden Hills etc don’t have homeless people because it’s a suburb above the canyons filled with private gated neighborhoods with security. @OP Caruso has a good reputation amongst a majority of the wealthy and upper/upper-middle class residents in suburbs and western LA. He’s responsible for The Grove, The Commons at Calabasas, Pacific Palisades’ downtown revival, etc. He is definitely a republican by philosophy, but people tend to love the real estate developments he’s involved himself with. Regardless, he’s the last person who would ever know how to deal with homelessness and rising crime rates aside from the generic “more police” solution that politicians have been spouting forever.
