celeb news Isaiah Rashad says he identifies as “sexually fluid”; addresses video leaks

The TDE rapper sat down with Joe Budden for his first interview since a video leaked in February showing him sexually involved with two other men.

 

“I’m sexually fluid,” said Rashad, whose family was aware of his sexuality. “I’m not in full control of when I walk into a room who I’m attracted to.” When asked when he discovered his sexuality, he said, “It’s been a gradual thing over the past couple years.”

 

Rashad also told Joe Budden about how he reacted to learning of the leaked video. “The first couple days was, like, kind of weird for me. I wrecked my fuckin’ car,” he revealed. “I was super in my head.”

 

Rashad, who considers himself monogamous, is currently in a relationship with a woman. “Luckily I date somebody who has a similar understanding of themselves,” he said. “She’s putting me onto a lot of stuff that I didn’t even understand.”

 

He’s been focused on his family and has no plans to take legal action against the person who leaked the footage. “I can’t be mad at everything about it. I always gotta look at the brighter side.”

I've always been a strong believer in the Kinsey scale. 

 

There are people that avoid the bisexual label to try and appease either fans or family, but within bisexuality, there are other genuine cases where its not a 50/50 split between gender attraction for one or the other. This category fits here and I don't have a problem with it.

that's true too, and it sucks for people who are genuinely bisexual to have their sexuality invalidated for other peoples' comfort or tolerance.
