Overall I think it was a safe choice:

- I Don't Give and Falling Down were soundtracks and both are on Spotify

- This year she mentioned Why in some interviews (something she never did before) + it's on My World EP

- Breakaway for obvious reasons 

- I guess they put Get Over It and Make Up only because she made these songs with The Matrix

Make-Up is such a great song so I’m glad it made it. I’m shocked that Let Go didn’t make the cut though.

I'm actually really happy with the bonus content and, if anything, it actually surpassed my expectations. 

 

Only two of those tracks (I Don't Give & Why) were ever officially released, so technically speaking there are "new" tracks if you think about it that way. Also, we're getting a HQ re-recorded version of Breakaway, so the deluxe is worth it just for that alone. 

 

And Make-Up high-quality is going to slay my existence

Falling Down is on the OST for Sweet Home Alabama and Get Over It was a b-side on the physical copy of the Sk8er Boi single. 
 

So it’s only Breakaway and Make-Up that never got officially released, but I’m still happy with the songs we’re getting.

I can't believe she isn't releasing title track. Either way I'm happy with the songs that are included. It will be weird that Breakaway is a new recording but I'm still happy with the new tracks! I really hope this isn't actually a 2023 release though. It can't be if it's already being leaked now

It makes sense that she's pulling a Breakaway (Avril's Version) (From the Vault) considering the version that's out there is absolutely a demo and you can tell it's never underwent proper mixing/mastering. I'd far rather have a polished, re-recorded version than the current demo!

I still can’t believe that the original album title was (Rather Be) Anything But Ordinary. That song is a magnum opus, but that title is a mess.
