yeah definitely, I realized in like 2017 that I didn't have to be a leftist just because I'm gay. I don't identify as a conservative but I definitely embrace some conservative beliefs

Society in general changed and doesn't get as outraged as a few years ago.

I think it's because of two reasons

Some people think it got out of hand and people were doing too much

And others saw that there are no consequences. People get called out and nothing changes.

I've always lived by the following principle: Does it hurt anybody or hinder anybody from living their life? Then I don't care.

 

I do think that the younger generations are remarkably sensitive and conservative, though. It's weird to see.
