I loved it :jonny5:

It's been a while since I've wanted to bing a show but Wednesday had me hooked since ep 1. Sure there were a few things that could have been laid out better but overall the show is great. I hope there is a season 2 but I would be curious with how they go about it.

This! :jonny5:

Surprisingly no. Uncle Fester does though!

This gives me more Harry Potter vibes then Addams family. It's like Harry Potter but if the protagonist was a strong smart girl instead of a nerdy boy.

@Kamil24you would love this!

Is it scary or horror? I want to watch it but I won’t if it has horror elements, and in general, how good is it?

It’s definitely not a horror show.

The show is good.

this has to be the worst pile of garbage I have seen in years.

the dull dialogues, the teen drama cliches, the shitty CGI, the complete lack of likable characters, the uninspired story and bad writing :rip:

The only thing scary about it is how bad it is.

This is so fun to watch. I'm on Episode 3. Really proud of Jenna Ortega's growth as an actress since Stuck in the Middle.

I expected so much better. It's missing the quirk and authenticity of Addams Family. It's really an Addams-lite. And there's also that CW aftertaste that I can't stand.

Still a solid season but it could still fall off the deep end very quickly like "Sabrina". It's on very fragile ground.

:lmao: preach

The way y'all are overrating this show

It's cute and I'm enjoying it but chill.

It's givin Chilling Adventure of Sabrina but with less style but definitely more substance.

In what world is the Adams Family universe horror? Addams is more comedy than anything else. I don't know why you expected this to be any different.

Also didn't you watch Stranger Things?

It was really good, the finale was a bit underwhelming for me though, the way most of the schools are basically useless and their power barely put into used :rip:

can't wait what comes next

It’s the most delightfully macabre show I’ve seen in a while. I’ve always loved the Addams family so it was nice to see the series. It had moments where it kind of approached CW level teenage drama but it never fully got there.

This soo good. I am pleasantly surprised cause i thought i was gonna hate it. Jenna Ortega deserves an Emmy nomination :clap3:

i had fun with this as a binge but i didn’t like how they made Wednesday’s character soft by giving her love interests and making her more friendly as the show progresses - i get they wanted to develop the character but that’s just not what the addams family is… Wednesday isn’t supposed to be a lovable character, she’s likeable because she’s strongly despicable but in a funny way

People just seem to be happy just to have a "dark" show that they can live vicariously through as an emo or something. :rip:

This show knifed the classic Wednesday in the heart and gave us a dull, moody, millennial ass girl who's dumb as hell; all through a live action, high-school drama filter. Addams in name only.

I like seeing the success but never for mediocrity like this. The way things are looking, a season 2 is likely and how sad will it be for an act 2 of this kind of poor showing.

I just binged through it. Definitely get and understand some of the criticism people have, especially over some of the adjustments they made to Wednesday as a character throughout the season, but I think people should realize that this is another interpretation of Wednesday Addams and she still holds most of what makes her her in the beginning of the season throughout, despite the romantic relations and friends.

This show wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it was still interesting and highly consumable and enjoyable to me. I'd watch another season when it comes out, but its not something I'm gonna be craving to come out.

It's like Harry Potter but goth.
