It's not Gaga's TG, have respect for the filmmakers. However this is shaping up to be one of the most acclaimed sequels of all time so she will forever be tied to it, the original is not even that good but it endured so this one will endure even more. A win for her.

#ThankYouRadioPayola because it’s streaming stats certainly weren’t strong enough for it to do so. Hence it not being able to chart at all on its first week. :clap3:

As a different user said, clearly Warner are going all out to try and find some success.

Oh sure, it's because of this and not because it was released on a Tuesday. The lengths y'all are willing to go to sometimes...

OT: Gaga's Top Gun. No #98-OUT allowed.

Did the Tuesday release prevent the GP from streaming it as well? Or was that caused by the dislike for the song?

The fact remains, the only reason the song is charting is because of the radio payola. Which has been enough for it to scrape into the bottom of the chart. Something the Monsters used to ridicule and are now celebrating. :toofunny3: Let’s see if this wide release does anything.

Warner

:rip:

Gaga and this song are both under Interscope Records, not Warner, which has a reputation of being anti-payola:

Quote

And when a label was unwilling to pay? A text from Zap warned the radio station not to take directions from the record company. “Please don’t let Interscope dictate anything to you,” he wrote. “They don’t pay me ****.”

It would have had to accumulate enough points in only 3 days to have charted, acting like it not charting in it's first "week" (even though it wasn't) is a disaster is intellectually dishonest. Especially when it's a OST song which succeed due to longevity. And Interscope is known for not engaging with payola. HMH is just literal AC bait and AC *shockingly* took it. And pop kinda owes her after how they treated Shallow and ROM.

And I'm not sure why you're saying anything anyway when some girls couldn't chart with their last OST song at all despite it being tied to one of the most memorable and talked about Oscar performances of all-time as I've been told :cm: HMH outstreamed too. :cm:

I guess it couldn’t accumulate those points because nobody was streaming it. :cm:

All those excuses and it’s still a flop. I see why you’re mad.

Beyoncé stans are so obsessed  with the chart performance of Top Gun when the fact is it is already bigger than Spirit and Black Parade :skull:
