What is this thread 

First of all, I stan Sky but she is NOT the right person to be laughing about another artist being stuck in album-limbo.  It’s been almost 10 years since NTMT, she has no place to joke about this.  Like, look in a mirror. 
 

However, Sky is still 100% right about her dislike of this girl who tried and failed to copy her aesthetic and sound.  All of Halsey’s albums sound like they were made by completely different people in the worst way and absolutely none of them will be remember in 10 years.  Sky’s ONLY album is still considered the gold standard of alt indie pop to this day and her music is still referenced as some of the most influential and acclaimed.  It’s crazy how someone so irrelevant could make such an impact, but it’s true.  Halsey is incapable of ever doing that.

her influence on modern alt pop girls is palpable and at least as much as the other artists you mentioned  hatchie, ethel cain, etc..

 

and i struggle to understand how her mom being a hairstylist to michael jackson with no college education qualifies as a "nepotism baby" when we have other pop girls who went to private boarding schools and elite colleges and programs on daddy's dime while sky was grinding and working hard and modelling, gigging, sending her tracks everywhere from an extremely young age. sorry she knew how to use being actually brought up in LA as a young native american and latina artist to the best of her advantage and halsey had to flee from her suburb to go squat in a moldy basement with a bunch of other poser gentrifier kids in brooklyn.

them trying to drag halsey for switching styles for acclaim as if it didn’t take Sky multiple genres, aesthetics and shelved albums before she finally released NTMT.

 

Like I said earlier, I used to bump Sky back in the day, but this utter delusion coming from her stans  sis was good but let’s calm down here

I only spot lies, and comparing Sky to Lana is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen.  Ghost EP and NTMT are two of the most acclaimed indie pop projects of the past decade, your opinion is statistically irrelevant no matter how much you dislike her music.
