it's similar to PMM. but much more chill. it's definitely not as instant as PMM or Santo.

overall the EP is all mid-tempo with one Mariachi song. if you've heard Lloras Por Na, it's very much that vibe

it's doesn't have a Somos Cacas so it's automatically better than La Puerca.

also it's incredibly short. i don't think it even crosses 15 minutes. :rip:

my opinion on the EP

first of all the whole EP has been registered on Joox on the 27th of May... so the change for sure was last minute.

Overall is a very short project so it needs to be listened combined and mixed to La Fuerza. The main difference is the sound: more slow, "cadenced" and a la Somos Nada ~ Llora Por Na, offering at the same time the Latino\Spanish sound-beats that we hear in most of the recent songs made in that language(s).

  1. Suéltame with TINI
it's very "powerful" offering an interesting chorus and general vibes. I like the verses by TINI, very well shaped and mixed together. "Sueltame, Suletame, S-S-S-Sueltameee":jonny5:. The instrumentals get more interesting when TINI comes with her part (the little "tin-tin" gives more rhythm). To be honest it sounds more like the song is by TINI and not Xtina :gaycat5: ... but Xtina offers super high notes around 2:20 (as usual!). The song finishes with voice distortions.

  2. Brujería
Regional sound. Sweet guitar and soft vibes overall the song. I find it a little bit weak in the chorus, even if the instrumental gives the song a little catchy vibe. The song never explodes. little bridge of only instrumentals almost at the end and then again the chorus. not my fave.

  3. Traguito
The start reminds me of a song, I don't remember which one tho. I LOVE this track: catchy, full of beat and summer-ish (well at least for me). "Bailando con tigooo". The second pre-chorus is so cute: the backing vocals give more effect to the song:party:.  The best song on the EP.

  4. Cuando Me Dé la Gana
Super slow, super high notes. She delivers a wonderful and powerful voice. Only guitar and lot of backing noises.

  5. Te Deseo Lo Mejor
Another gem. Very very catchy :WAP: . Chorus is so addicting. She served and ate. I love the voice at 1:44, so soft and ready to charge again!

Scared at the super high notes :rip:

I think I may add Lloras Por Na' (feat. C. Tangana & Karol G) to the end, to make it 6 tracks to match La Fuerza

This one sounds stronger overall. The Tini one is actually good and Traguito is a slay for me.

It's a very solid EP, but nothing on here touches Santo. and nothing was as boring as Somos Nada.

only 2 songs have high notes.

Suéltame - backing vocals and very filtered

Cuando Me De La Gana - this one is very VERY loud. both the high notes and the actual background noises.  :rip:

like i said this one is very chill. if they put Lloras Por Na instead of the Ranchera song, it would've been perfect.

it's a guilty pleasure for sure.

Xtina hasn't made a straight up pop song you could dance to since Lotus so i'm really enjoying it.
