That would be more than enough for them to have a headstart in life and live cushioned if they work full time and make their own wealth as well. Anything more than that and you are simply raising spoiled brats who wont know how to work for themselves.

John Slayne Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 he's right i'm here for 100% inheritance taxes after a certain amount. nobody needs to be inheriting 'tens of million of dollars'. his children have two rich parents, they probably received/are receiving the most expensive education and are set for life. they have had all the privileges and advantages this world can offer when growing up. why should they get even more for their retirement? especially in this economy when poverty is on the rise and public services are severely underfunded. people love talking about meritocracy and hard work, but are somehow okay with world's wealth being forever held by 1% families through generational wealth. make it make sense.
