Iggy has multiple smash hits & is baking from international touring. You're just comparing her to Vanilla Ice because he's white.

She actually makes much more money from her underperforming albums more than she does with her debut album (when she was signed to a label)

Most people would say she has only real two~ remembered hits - Fancy & Black Widow (even Ariana hates Problem, having cut Iggy's verse from the version performed on the DWT and not performing the single since; and no one remembers the Booty remix).

But importantly, all of her Top 40 hits were in the span of a very few short months. To map out her Top 40 hits:

2011: 0
2012: 0
2013: 0
2014: 6
2015: 1
2016: 0
2017: 0
2018: 0
2019: 0
2020: 0
2021: 0
2022: 0

In fact, it was basically a year between her first ever Top 40 hit on the Hot 100 and her last:
April 26th, 2014 - Fancy goes Top 40
May 23rd, 2015 - Pretty Girls goes Top 40

Her career came and went in the span of a year; thus, the Vanilla Ice comparisons because, while Ice Ice Baby is one of the most synced songs of all time and To The Extreme is certified 7x Platinum in a way no Iggy Azalea album ever will be, his success similarly started and stopped in the very same 12 month window.

And that no matter just how huge their throwback hit is (Ice Ice Baby/Fancy) was, their success is remembered as a one-off relic of a specific year in time, whether that be 1991 or 2014.

The industry did Iggy so wrong. She deserves better.

They treat all of them like that when they aren't producing numbers unfortunately. Iggy is no exception. Even Ellen, after multiple years of entertaining the public, couldn't escape it. A lot of them deserved better. But Iggy's fall is so bad, I wonder why her label dropped her.

She's never been dropped. She has always left labels. Her last label kept delaying her album (Digital Distortion) so she ended up leaking songs herself.

You still cant compare careers since Iggy is still thriving in 2022 without being attached to a major record label. Does vanilla ice have a perfume company? does he have a makeup line? is he selling out shows all over the globe? touring the states with Pitbull? I think not. Her career is still very much so strong and going. Stop being a hater!

This thread is serving Knee/Xtina throwback to first eras by delusional stans on ATRL teas.
