Highly doubt the scandal affected Tesla's stock price. Just about all stocks had a terrible Friday, meaning Tesla would have still fallen with/without this scandal. Good time to buy more shares though

i mean, most tech (and non-tech) stocks with high PE value are plummeting due to rate hike and balance sheet shrinking and TSLA is with production and delivery issue.... it's bound to go down for awhile.

Their only saving grace for the next election would be to cut student loans by way more than the current $10K that's being discussed and lower gas prices. But you're right, the GP isn't buying it
