The attention to detail is always great with Pixar, and you can tell they’ve placed a lot of thought into the world building but the narrative the trailer is pushing just feels a little trite? I’m sure the film itself will be more nuanced and compelling, but the trailer did not sway me in a positive way. I will still be watching though because I’m a Pixar stan and they continue to be one of the most consistent studios in the game.
