Not to be dismissive, but he's a 17-year old relative newbie playing in the 2nd division, hardly "massive".

 

Still, it's progress though and the support has been encouraging, hopefully it opens the door for more players across various leagues.

I think people don’t understand how huge this is. No footballer in the UK has came out since the 90s and he was dragged in the press and even by his own family. The fact it’s taken almost 30 years for another playing footballer to come out is insane.
