Wish you the best as well. I genuinely regret my part in it getting to the point that it did, and I hope over time we can possibly forget about this and be ok with each other. I do still stand by most of what I said, but I always try my best to not have hate in my heart for people.

OT: For me the ideal singles would’ve been:

1. HTG (even tho it’s not one of my faves, it makes the most sense to me as the lead)

2. Frankenstein

3. Holy

4. Imagining

5. This Hell (yes!)

I tried to reach you by DM right now just to clarify things but you won’t receive them. In case you open them (or unblock me) notice me.

And related to the topic. Surprised This Hell is on your list. I don’t think I had picked it as a single even though I really like it!

I temporarily took you off my ignored list but I still can’t see the message. You might have to resend it.

Anyone knows about how to get a baby pink indie exclusive vinyl? Are they from the US or both UK and Us just based on your luck?

'send my love to john' reminds me a lot of madge's 'x-static process'.

the album is a 5/10 for me. the middle part sounds interesting, but overall not my cup of tea.

A few cheesy / quirky songs in here. And there's nothing wrong with that (at all) but they’re just bleh for me.

Holy is cute and I like Imagining, it's fun.

Hurricanes and HTG played at the club :alexz:

After listening to the album multiple times, I definitely feel like the beginning (Minor Feelings to Forgiveness sans This Hell) and ending (Hurricanes to To Be Alive) are cohesive, and the middle of the album (Holy to Frankenstein) are kinda like more "random" songs. Not to say those songs aren't good, but in a way makes the album feel less cohesive

Because gays have taste, basically.

From what I understand, the "baby pink" one is the indie exclusive "red splatter" but I also saw some copies being just plain transparent red. Idk if there's a guaranteed way to get the baby pink one. But the indie exclusive is available everywhere

I want to like this album so badly, but similar to her last one there are 3 or 4 songs that resonate with me and the rest just sounds like recycled filler from a mediocre 2003 adult contemporary record. Still think she's an interesting artist, but I'm surprised at the consistently (low) quality of the songwriting :(

Biases aside, I genuinely don't see how someone could ever call any of her music "filler". Don't like it, hate it even? Totally Fine. But "filler"? Her music is so dynamic and dramatic and so on; it's simply boring or half-assed - ever.

Just my thoughts, ofc.

It’s serve after serve with her wtf :deadbanana2: This era alone she got like 10 magazine covers

Songwriting is fine, but if you don't like it being cheesy is a complete different story.

Fair enough! I don't hate it, I just find tracks like Catch Me In The Air, Send My Love To John, Phantom etc. to be a bit lacklustre. When I say filler I guess what I mean is forgettable. A lot of the songwriting and production is giving big 2004 American Idol Winner's rush-released debut album vibes. Also just my opinion though.

Gotcha - I hear ya. This album - or at least a lot of it - is sooo . . niche, I guess; like for a specific type of person or music. It gives me childhood, DCOM, Radio Disney - and I get people hating, but it's such a serve for my tastes :toofunny3:

A great result :heart:Interested to see the numbers breakdown.

#12 debut in Australia, which isn't as as strong a showing as I'd like but still a big improvement
