The 1234 punch of Holy, Your Age, Imagining, and Frankenstein what the ****  it's actually really bizarre how she didn't just make an album with this sound. It doesn't sound cohesive with the rest at all. The rest is way too slow 

 

the others aren't bad but they're just boring asf. Maybe they'll grow on me. Hurricanes and To Be Alive are really nice though. Hold the Girl the song is still TRASH

I've just heard Frankenstein and Imagining 'cause I don't wanna spoil too much of the rest for me. They're both very good, Imagining being the superior one, and they all confirm what I was thinking of this record. It sounds like it's the perfect follow-up to her debut EP, but as the follow-up to SAWAYAMA, I understand why it may end up disappointing in the end.

The album is kinda mid tho. Hold The Girl and Holy are probably my only long term keeps.

Holy's choruses are missing a long, belty note right before "... I was innocent when you said I was evil" - it sounds great but sort of sounds empty. The final version instrumental is just killer though

I wish the sound of the whole album was more in line with the Holy to Frankenstein run. Those are such SERVES, while the rest vary from meh to cute

it's a step down but still a really good followup
