The setlist is awful. Why isn't she singing more from D&R?? She left out Velvet, Pink Champagne, Wanted Woman, Faster, etc. But of course she cannot leave UI, CC, GG, LN

The way I was trying to tell myself I wasn’t a closet Carrie stan until I saw that setlist and knew every song on it :WAP: In general tho I think it could have been better

******* tell me about it... Like I could find several songs that could have been axed and replaced with the remaining 4 D&R songs.

Yeah, the setlist is kinda tragic… the fact that she opens with “Good Girl”, “Church Bells” and then “Undo It” like we’re in the pre-Cry Pretty era :rip:

Honestly, if she took off “Good Girl”, “If I Didn’t Love You”, “How Great Art Thou” and replaced them with “Pink Champagne”, “Velvet Heartbreak” and “Faster”, we would have a much better balanced setlist:

Main stage

1. Pink Champagne

2. Church Bells

3. Undo It

4. Hate My Heart

5. Cowboy Casanova

6. Velvet Heartbreak

7. Wasted

8. She Don’t Know

9. Blown Away

10. Burn

11. Cry Pretty

B-stage

12. Ghost Story

13. Two Black Cadillacs

14. Garden

15. Jesus, Take the Wheel

16. Faster

17. Crazy Angels

Main stage

18. Denim & Rhinestones (with Jimmie Allen)

19. Flat on the Floor

20. Poor Everybody Else (with drum solo)

21. Last Name

22. Something in the Water

Encore

23. Welcome to the Jungle (Guns n’ Roses cover)

24. Before He Cheats

I know “Good Girl” is arguably a Carrie classic but “Pink Champagne” is just a perfect opener. And in my opinion, “Wasted” could be cut for another Cry Pretty track, maybe “Backsliding” to thematically fit between “Velvet Heartbreak” and “She Don’t Know”?

I am seeing her on the 25th so still super excited!!

I'm quite shocked but surprised by this setlist!

Shocked:

- Wasted - why is this still a thing?

- Flat On The Floor - Yeah we get it and we've heard enough. Next, please

- Garden - Im not sure why she sang this live. She's never done any of these type of tracks live before? Did she do the Bullet, I can't remember but no!

- Undo It - I think maybe we need some rest from this for a little bit...

- Cowboy Casanova - Maybe can we take a smoke break from this?

- Velvet Heartbreak - How is this not in the set list?

- Pink Champagne - Again, how is this not in the set list?

- Wanted Woman - How is this also not on the set list?

Surprised:

- Poor Everyone Else - WOW! Did not expect this!

- Burn - Didnt think this would make the list.

What should have been included instead:

- Pink Champagne

- Velvet Heartbreak

- Backsliding

- Wanted Woman

- Little Toy Guns

- Relapse

- Wine After Whiskey

- Spinning Bottles

Oh this might be her worst setlist. Bummed we didn’t get a Faster/Heartbeat medley.

I can't tell you how many times I've thought of her doing that medley.

Should have killed off If I Didn't Love You, Welcome to the Jungle, Wasted (she's great but she's gotta go) and Mashup Good Girl with Cowboy Casanova and bring in the leftover 4 tracks from Denim and Rhinestones, then I'd say this would be pretty good, but so far, the Cry Pretty setlist beats this by light years.

In that case, she should have also taken out Undo It and Flat On the Floor, to make room for some ballads. So Small, Just a Dream or See You Again for example. The set list is really uptempo, so it would have been nice to have more ballads, especially to hear Carrie's voice in the slower jams.

I actually think this setlist is almost perfect, but of course ATRL remains out of touch. Like, people seriously wanting her to leave off Undo It or Cowboy Casanova. :skull: She’s not leaving off any of her biggest hits, get real.

The only issues I see are with Wasted and Flat On The Floor still being included. I’m also not crazy about Garden being part of a tour setlist, but I get that’s kind of who she is, so it’s whatever.

I know Wasted went #1 back in the day, but it honestly didn’t stand the test of time the way many of her other hits did, and it really isn’t essential to Carrie as an artist anymore. It’s super ironic, but this song being in her tour setlist at this point is just a waste of space. :rip:

But the biggest issue by far is her still performing Flat On The Floor. At this point, we have to assume Carrie just likes this song, right? There’s literally no other reason for her to still be doing this. It wasn’t a single nor is it a fan favorite. :rip:

However, switch both of those out for Pink Champagne and Velvet Heartbreak, and the setlist would be near perfect tbh.
