DatChickDoe Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Grew up as a teen when she released ‘Blue’ and have adored her since. Twisted Angel is an underrated gem in her discography. Such a powerful and talented singer. Very stoked.
stjosephprey4us Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 It’s sweet of her to have written a whole album about what Millie Bobbie Brown does
schnetzka Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 It's a shame how society shunned her after the whole thing with Eddie. Plenty of other people have done similar things and it didn't affect their careers. 'Remnants' is such a great album and deserved more credit.
Subestar23 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 It's a shame she didn't have this album ready closer to her win from the Masked Singer (similar to what Jewel has done with Freewheelin' Woman, although not that it helped her that much), she seems to have had a bit more goodwill towards her in recent years so she may have been able to be at a place where she could have had a successful (for a legacy act) album campaign. Nevertheless, I am really excited for this as I loved Remnants and think her voice has gotten really great again in recent years after a bit of a blip in the early 2010s.
Johnny Jacobs Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Why does she look like Meredith grey in the cover I don't use Homewreckers so no thanks
americanlife Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 She announced this album last month, very early for an album that’s coming in September. Maybe she has a big campaign planned.
aedeus Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 She has the most gorgeous voice of all time. I'm happy that she still releases albums even though she really struggles with sales and chart positions. It's sad she hasn't been that successful after the Coyote Ugly album, which was released more than 20 years ago. Nevertheless, her material has remained really strong and Twisted Angel, Whatever We Wanna and Remnants are among my all time favorite records. I hope that there is a gem like Love is an army, Strong or I Couldn't do that to me in this new album...

I keep hoping she would release amazing music again…. I miss her making songs like How Do I Live, Looking Through Your Eyes, I Need You, and the whole Coyote Ugly soundtrack. Her music was perfect back then.
