How is Eaea a screaming mess and Echo a masterpiece? And why does Iru's screeching sound like she's yelling at the bottom of a pool?

She's serving fagotry and cheap camp visuals so obvi the Eurogays are eating that **** up but like make it make sense to me right now

I mean the song is good but wtf are these lyrics (especially grammar & choice of vocabulary??) Are we still in 2007 or what, I hope they fix it.

I fully respect and appreciate that English is probably not the songwriters' first language but yes, they make no sense. Not even close.

I'm wondering what Georgia's performance is gonna be like. I kinda like the song but I'm afraid it's one of these entries that fans like but the GP doesn't get and ultimately doesn't vote for :chick3:

I love Armenia's song but the opening line is a mess. It's like the song sounds so mysterious and magical while she's singing about visiting bookstores and doing cute little things like drinking smoothies at near cafés?! :psyduck:

At Melfest, they hung the top screen at the top of the arena and would lower it for Loreen's performance.  They wouldn't be able to store the screen at the top of the arena during Eurovision, so wheeling out the screen, trying to rig that screen that weighs over a ton, and raising it to the appropriate height during the 2 minutes they get in between acts seems impossible at the moment.

They're either going to have to shrink the screens or come up with some major engineering feat. I can't believe they'd invest so much in an act with such obvious winner potential without at least considering contingency plans for the staging. Apparently even Cornelia's spinning circle and microphone were a nightmare to execute last year. Then again last year was one giant stage issue so :giraffe:

I put the song on while reading this thread and I'm now realizing I heard / processed NO lyrics like it was almost as if she sang in Georgian :deadbanana4: and I'm a native speaker

that said, the song was a bop

The song's mixing is terrible so it's not your fault :rip:

The way everyone gaslit themselves into thinking Georgia is gonna serve a mega girlboss bop and save the year :ahh:

and the hottie of this year (and the only one tbh) goes to Cyprus

too bad the song is sh**

The Kaarija erasure :tsk::tsk::tsk:

ot:  Just like last year, this year is extremely mid. There's not many unlistenable songs, but there are only few that I really enjoy and will listen to in my free time - Finland, Sweden, and Austria.

I feel like UMK was stronger than the actual contest with just seven songs :deadbanana4:

The jury scoring Voices way over this song was the moment we should have swept them out of the equation!

What’s even funnier to me is watching people online gaslight themselves into thinking Georgia is a slay but complained about Unicorn’s lyrics :celestial5:

I don't really listen to Eurovision songs for the purpose of getting some deep lyrical meaning so I don't really cringe at anything.

I mean everyone's fave (and one of mine) literally goes:

No, I don't care about the pain
I'll walk through fire and through rain

So to me the lyric debate is kinda pointless. #StopTheDramaStartTheMusic

the way the Internal Selections kinda ended up being more underwhelming (except from Austria) than the National Selections :dies:
