tbhmatt Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Oh so Mae Muller is the UK entry this year, interesting

Fevesy Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 The UK song is like.. fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it but I would bop to it if it came on the radio. I think people would stan more if we didn't have such a good year last year.
Hurem Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 With 31 songs out, it's safe to say this years is gonna be the worst of 2020s
illia Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 1. Finland 2. Spain 3. Slovenia 4. Moldova 5. Serbia 6. Czechia 7. Austria 8. Lithuania 9. Israel 10. Norway

tbhmatt Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Ok, just watched the video and listened to ‘I Wrote A Song’ in full. I’d give it a 6 out of 10. It’s an undeniably catchy hook but I can see it getting very irritating after a while, lol. The vocals aren’t really giving anything and she’d need to go ALL out with the performance to win over the gays who vote… but I don’t see her as much of a dancer either? I feel like this will get lost and it won’t get the votes from either the jury or the public which is a shame. It’s just kind of… there. The video was cool though and they could play about with the doll house/perspective setup for the staging which could work well. I did enjoy it and would probably bop a king to it now and then, but I’m not rushing to add it to my playlist. It doesn’t have the same appeal that Sam Ryder’s song did, it’s a little bit too “for the tik tok crowd”. I hope it does well though.
Apostolis Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 this year is already better than 2022 and we didn't even get Armenia, Georgia, Loreen and Portugal yet
nasa Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 This year absolutely sucks and is on the level of 2017 bad. There is no single good song 2 cute bops (Slovenia and Czechia) but everything else is straight up trash.
illia Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 I hope we all agree that 2021 was the best and the most iconic year ever right?
abelfenty Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 2021 was on another league but this year is better than 2022, 2019 and 2017 from recent years
Duanielipa Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Eurovision 2020 would’ve been one of the best ever (next to 2016) had it not been cancelled it’s so annoying. Iceland, Russia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania and Malta all would’ve been iconic winners. This year basically only has Finland and Sweden.
