The writers' camps better be cooking for her next year
Funhouse Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Not Tattoo out-streaming the already selected songs (711,272 on Feb. 26 alone)
mellenthin Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Ukraine stands no chance with that song Stefania remains a hundred times more superior.

nasa Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Fiinka or Jerry would be giving Ukraine a top 5 so easily

Huge televote potential (obviously not as much as last year) that could help compensate for not as much jury votes. Tattoo is like SloMo. A very well crafted pop number and a balanced entry that will be received well by both juries and televote equally. I do understand that Kaarija is more likely to be the Go_A or Konstrakta of this contest but there isn’t a lot of competition at the top this year unlike the last few. Ukraine was going to win last year no matter what. So much pity votes. And they will get pity votes this year too, but less.

ZIVERT Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 The rewriting of history in here. Ukraine was top 5 in the bettings odds before the invasion ever happened… Kalush was always in contention to win

I meant the invasion brought this wave of sympathy towards Ukraine that affected all walks of life. And that's great and awesome ofc. I just wonder that how many extra votes they received based on that sympathy than what they would have if the invasion never happened. Edited February 28, 2023 by anti-bitch

It's not just any politics impact when it's literal bloodbath happening not so far from your home That was the whole point of my post, that there was this war happening and people wanted to show support and sympathy to Ukraine in every possible way, including voting them in ESC. That's what I meant by politics. War is politics. And wanting to show support to the country under attacks in every way is political too. I don't mean anything negative with it. Just wondering how it affected people's voting in the end. Edited February 28, 2023 by anti-bitch

Her YouTube clip has over 1.1M views, which is over 900k more than the 2nd most viewed (Marcus & Martinus) Loreen is the biggest lock to win Melfest since Måns in 2015
BOOM! Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 I can't believe that Loreen is doing all these numbers. Her streams and views are crazy.

abrantino Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 (edited) Whoever decided to change the chorus of the Lithuanian track deserves to get a Nobel Prize, it's so catchy & so much better than the original. Was looking for the song on Spotify and added the English chorus version first, couldn't believe how disjointed and terrible it sounds. Čiūto tūto Čiūto tūto Čiūto tūto Edited February 28, 2023 by abrantino
