Spotify didn't update yet but I expect Loreen to have an increase after the payola, her team was afraid that Cha cha cha will surpass Tattoo so they added it on TTH.

You don't need payola when you have an organic hit. Joke entries can only wish.

The day this thread realises critiquing the juries doesn’t equal hating Loreen is the day we move forward

Yeah. UMK (Finland) has the 75% televote and 25% jury system, so they could push that idea to EBU, with the support of other nations ofc.

Nobody's gonna take away Loreen's win. It's done, it's over. That's it. We're just talking about the future of the contest.

Please don't call ChaCha a joke. Unserious maybe, but not a joke.

It's like camp Rammstein.

Blanca Paloma and Spain this year is one of few reasons why professional jury should absolutely stay. So that artistry, talent and vocal performance can get some recognition even if it's not really something commercial and for the masses. We all know that GP tends to give their votes to some questionable performances. I am not saying that they don't deserve these votes, i am just saying that many times, public simply can't recognize true talent and many times tends to vote for their own (political) reasons, like last year for example. We absolutely need jury.

Nobody liked EaEa and the result it had was deserved.

Well as a jury member on the Serbian delegation this year, she could have done her part to make the jury system work better. Instead, she decided to vote politically. So this post just comes across as hypocritical and self righteous :celestial5:

why tho? she was given vote and voted as she liked, she can still agree that juries are pointless :rip:  Dictating what is "Quality" in art (which is supposed to be in the eye off the beholder/subjective) is pure bullshit pushed by bigots whose tuneless music noone wants to listen

Also how do we know whos behind which number? I wanna check some other juries

I didn't realize not all jurors get translations of the lyrics :rip:

How are you supposed to judge the quality of a performance if you cannot understand the lyrical content behind the songs?  Songs like Croatia 2023 and Serbia 2022 featured well crafted, important messages in the lyrics that related to the staging performances given at Eurovision, but if you don't know what those lyrics are supposed to mean how does that make you qualified to judge the performance objectively?

isn't their job to look it up online or sth to educate themselves, it's 10 - 15 songs or less
