The fact that the public was screaming Cha Cha Cha during the jury votes and was so mad with the juries , damaged so bad EBU's image that there is no way there aren't going to make changes 

It's their own fault... Winners should not be allowed to return... especially if they were as iconic as Loreen back in 2012... of course, with someone like that whatever they perform the Jury will favour it, it's common sense...if Netta comes back, what do you guys think will happen?

 

(I wanted Loreen to win because was my fave song and personally I don't really mind Cha Cha Cha at all BUT, I do get the hype and why probably most Europeans loved it)

Realized that I’m definitely here for the juries because without them, Australia would have UNDESERVEDLY flopped. Their song and staging was EXCELLENT, and would be considered a potential winner if we didn’t have two strong front runners this year tbh

Eurovision should either keep the pre-recorded vocals rule OR at least increase the maximum number of people on stage because most perfomances look so empty and dull with 4-5 dancers (or even less if there are live back vocals)

No, but seriously, I don't know what happened or what switched. I remember seeing all those reactions on YouTube and people were LOVING EaEa, but then it's such an underrated song. Too bad it did not appeal to people in the end.

I didn’t get the controversy until watching both performances again. Loreen‘s song sounds so basic and like a hundred other song. Finland was original and fun. This whole song contest can‘t be taken seriously. If Germany had sent Loreen she would have never won. Germany always ending last is also proof enough that the voting system sucks.

Prerecorded vocals are trash and let some entries get away with straight up fraud.

The only prerecorded vocals that should be allowed are the ones with some sort of vocal effect that can't be replicated live (like the intro to In corpore sano or that brief vocal effect during Fulenn for example). Like there were some songs this year where you couldn't even hear the live vocals properly it's a disgrace

I think a lot of people switched because EaEa is one of those songs that can be appreciated only when it's performed on stage.

The studio verson absolutely SUCKS and the mixing is so cheap and headache-inducing. I can't imagine anyone willingly listen to it on Spotify a few times in a row unlike Tattoo or Cha Cha Cha or even Solo. So it's no wonder a lot of fans simply got tired of the song even before the contest

 

The perfomance, on the other hand, is absolutely stunning with her confidence and vocals. I wonder how Spaniards reacted to such floppage

Girl for real? What's original about Finland?  The beat, the melody, the visuals... I mean, I'm waiting. Y'all are too brave to call Tattoo a cheap generic mess but the only difference between Tattoo and Cha Cha Cha is that the latter is in Finnish.

 

If Cha Cha Cha was in English you would also be saying that it's a generic mess, because it kinda is but people have built this narrative that CCC is some kind of underrated avant-garde magnum opus.
