I’m sorry the overall points is what matters, not him getting 12s while Loreen got majority of 12s in jury points. That’s Eurovision. Just because it didn’t go your way this year doesn’t mean we didn’t get our rightful winner.

This is interesting because one contestant said that Loreen is very different when cameras are off (in a negative way). When in the green room they asked Loreen if all artists are friends there, the awkward silence said it all. I guess Loreen isn't that nice.

It's not about her, but about Sweden's influence in jury voting. They always do well with the juries.

I wonder if there was the same backlash when Duncan won with Arcade and was second in both juries and televoting. I just can't imagine having Spirit in the sky as a winning song when Soldi and Arcade were right there.

it would do worse than republika hrvatska this year and i doubt he could even "sing" this live with these processed studio vocals and him being a late night show host/"comedian".

 

do we even know the release timeframe for the 2024 contest? i tried to find it for 2023 but couldn't lol.

i mean yes, we all know that replay is like a remix of fuego. it's just weird because i feel like those songs have a bigger appeal and sound more "general pop" than some specific type of eurovision'ed pop entry that norway has been serving.

rewatching old eurovision clips is crazy like imagine replay, fuego, etc overlayed with those studio "backing vocals" 

Fuego profited so much off its energy on stage i can't even imagine how it would sound like with the studio vocals added. 

 

i miss those times we got moments like the "i ain't i ain't i ain't scared no more" backing vocals lines at eurovision
