Any Irish users here? Is there any hope that they finally get rid of that awful head of delegation?

I really want them to do well (and get their 'most wins' crown back :-*and y'all have so many great artists, what's with all the mediocrity lately (except Brooke ofc)

I need a “small” nation to win it next year, that will encourage more countries to come back or join. Malta or Luxembourg 2025 :clap3:

I think Cyprus currently has the longest competing streak without a win, so Limassol 2025 :clap3:

We’d become a Eurovision powerhouse like Italy/Sweden/Ukraine I fear

Ukraine is a powerhouse even without sympathy points in 2022/2023, and they are the only country that always qualified for the finals, seethe

Imo the countries that have been most overdue for a win are Iceland, Lithuania, Malta and Armenia.

My favourite ESC country (Albania) too tbh but they need to modernize FiK a bit more or ditch it as their NF before they can really become top 10 material

This year has been the best music wise along with 2021 :priceless: stop expecting Eurovision to serve 26 underground indie songwriter music that will never happen. It’s a song contest that has always been known for it’s kitsch and pop appeal.

If you think this year was the ‘worst’ then I don’t get why you’re still watching

yeah ok

the pop music at the top of the international charts it's better lol where did i wrote i need only indie music. Israel was at the second place and it's just tragic pop music of course will never be successfull anywhere cause it's what it is.

around 4 songs of 30 were good.

The way we thought Albania nailed it with Ronela only for her to be the sole flop from Albania from the last six years :rip:

If only we had televote only semis in 2022.. Ela and Sekret are literally two of my favourite ESC entries ever but instead we got a male balladfest for the final. God I despise 2022 its not even funny :bibliahh:

@Delusional how is Ukraine's dominance solely from sympathy yet they are the only country to qualify to every final they've participated in?  Even if you ignore Stefania, they have two other wins, two 2nd places, a third place, and other successes like Go_A coming 2nd in the televote in 2021.  Their lowest rank is 17th if you ignore their entries while they hosted which typically do poorly for everyone.

has Liechtenstein applied for EBU membership again? I remember they where doing so in 2021 but the president of the broadcaster died and that was scrapped

Not Irish but from what I know:

They said if Ireland qualified to the final this year they'd have reason to make a proper NF show instead of what they serve just now.. but well...

Someone asked him very recently what Ireland's slogan would be if they won Eurovision and he said "luckily enough, I don't think we'll have to think about that in the next few years" like :deadbanana:they should just withdraw and save themselves the embarassment.

The scream (of horror) I let out when the Crystal Ball ESC twitter account posted that snippet of Ronela in San Marino's NF...

Glad she LOST.

Armenia would have done really well if Qami Qami was an entry by an adult artist.

Not too much this song is still an extreme bop and she will pave the way for Elvana Gjata’s revenge next year

The staging was so bad, I don’t know why they didn’t keep the same idea as they did at FiK :deadbanana4:
