Romania never getting a win, especially in the late 2000s/early 2010s when they dominated that electropop sound, is so odd to me

Oh period! I see a Moldovan surprise win in our lifetime tbh

loreen absolutely deserved that win, especially after seeing the disgusting, spoiled reactions from finland voters. seriously, all those losers saying cha cha was pushing love + positivity so it deserved to win are so full of sh*t after acting like this when it didn’t go their way :rip:

i would totally understand if loreen was a flop in the televote, but she wasn’t even THAT far behind.

130+ points is far behind and she got ZERO 12 points from the countries on public votes

Just read that's there's a "Free Eurovision Song Contest" and Amy Macdonald represented Scotland in 2021 and got 4th place

Nothing but respect for the REAL 2006 winner

Feel like I'm saying this every year but I think Switzerland will win within the next 3/4 years...they need to stop with the boring male ballads tho.

i feel like they want to do well so badly but this year's entry was tragic and low key tasteless with that swiss guy singing about not wanting to go to war when he's SWISS and never will have to go to war while there is an actual attack on another contestant's country :deadbanana4:

if the bbc wants to pick established acts they need to do that when they're hot and not like bonnie tyler, decades later.

sam ryder was just getting started and already had a massive tik tok fanbase, that was a good selection (+ they need to make sure that the people they choose are charismatic and can translate the song on stage, mae's song was a bop but it just fell flat last night).

Switzerland needs more Luca Hannis moving forward

Reading about next years contest, we already got Luxembourg back and we might get Andorra, North Macedonia, Monaco, and Turkey back too :duca:

We’d become a Eurovision powerhouse like Italy/Sweden/Ukraine I fear

I need a “small” nation to win it next year, that will encourage more countries to come back or join. Malta or Luxembourg 2025 :clap3:

Any Irish users here? Is there any hope that they finally get rid of that awful head of delegation?

I really want them to do well (and get their 'most wins' crown back :-*and y'all have so many great artists, what's with all the mediocrity lately (except Brooke ofc)

I think Cyprus currently has the longest competing streak without a win, so Limassol 2025 :clap3:

Ukraine is a powerhouse even without sympathy points in 2022/2023, and they are the only country that always qualified for the finals, seethe

Imo the countries that have been most overdue for a win are Iceland, Lithuania, Malta and Armenia.

My favourite ESC country (Albania) too tbh but they need to modernize FiK a bit more or ditch it as their NF before they can really become top 10 material

This year has been the best music wise along with 2021 :priceless: stop expecting Eurovision to serve 26 underground indie songwriter music that will never happen. It’s a song contest that has always been known for it’s kitsch and pop appeal.

If you think this year was the ‘worst’ then I don’t get why you’re still watching

yeah ok

the pop music at the top of the international charts it's better lol where did i wrote i need only indie music. Israel was at the second place and it's just tragic pop music of course will never be successfull anywhere cause it's what it is.

around 4 songs of 30 were good.

The way we thought Albania nailed it with Ronela only for her to be the sole flop from Albania from the last six years :rip:
