This is a talent show ,we need new artists to win , very unfair imo If this was a talent show, I'm assuming you're not going to tell me you wanted Finland to win? Right?

Paola Bracho Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 I can't at Finland fans thinking that CCC is going to be to new Dancing lasha tumbai. No, it's not happening. Why are people so mad for the huge gap of Loreen on the jury vote? She was the undeniable performer of the night. Vocals, song, stage presence, atmosphere... Everything was there. Who else should be the 1st choice for them? The actual question should be why Finland got 150 pts from the jury with that atrocity? 3 hours ago, BOOM! said: We need the audience to STREAM their televote winner! But who can blame them?? Riot Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 This is not the first year that Sweden won while losing the televote. In 2015, Il Volo won the televote with 366 points, while Sweden was THIRD. They were saved once again by the jury, where they received 179 more points than Italy. It's time to discuss their mafia tactics with the juries.

But to be honest I didn't pay attention to the lyrics back then , just like most of Europe. It was Jamala's skillful voice that managed to convey such tremendous emotions that won us all over It's such a rare thing to witness in a competition that becomes more shallow and empty as years go on. I really agree. This song gives me chills every time. So much emotion.

Or maybe realise that those times Sweden have sent performances that can be enjoyed by EVERYONE - ranging from the regular person to music critics.
Solaria Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) Just screaming at the possibility of having an influx of solo female polished pop songs next year with gay ass Swedish hosting, next year’s ESC will be one for the history books Edited May 14, 2023 by Love Again
abrantino Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Jury votes definitely need a reform, not only with more juries (and more diverse) but they also need to rethink who they choose to invite, I mean one of the juries in Croatia was Mia Dimsic who is a complete nobody (and I'm sure there's even better examples than this one for other countries). At least get some actual music professionals.

alstrom Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 All this rage and seething just makes this win even more sweet. I wouldn't have been mad if Finland won, as it was one of my faves, but this rage is so funny to me.

At least get some actual music professionals. Exactly. Spain's jury was a mess too. Made up of two singers (one of them with no experience at all), two dancers and a journalist. Radio hosts also need to go as it seems they can't have an unbiased opinion and vote for the most radio-friendly and commercial tracks
BOOM! Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Eurovision reddit is MASS downvoting positive/realistic posts about Loreen and realistic or negative posts about Kaarija. Literally the cringiest ppl and sole LOSERS!!

Easily one of the best Eurovision moments ever, masterpiece. And guess what? It wouldn’t win without the juries. That’s why we need them and will continue to need them. But the juries make it look like it's a masterpiece, which it's clearly not. This is getting more and more ridicolous. Something has to change in the jury system. It's not that Tattoo was the absolute masterpiece but everything else was a wreck that made Tattoo shine even more. She simply left no other option to the juries.

abelfenty Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 What a night. I’m so proud of Käärijä. He might’ve not won overall but he’s won my heart and the hearts of many across Europe. He’s a new Eurovision icon
its_britney_bitch Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 God I wish the jury just voted for the whole thing the public don’t deserve a say

Watson Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) Youtube/Twitter is really making the results another Bejba/Jann situation. The televote made some VERY questionable choices. We need the juries tbh Edited May 14, 2023 by Watson
