Even though I wanted Finland to win, I knew the moment I saw the Melodifestivalen stage for the first time that she was gonna take it. When she performs this in 2024 and gives it the justice it deserves! OMG this is amazing!!! How have I never seen or heard this before?
Delirious Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 I really don't understand why everyone is so upset. Do people not find things cringey anymore? Finland's performance was the definition of cringe. I couldn't finish watching it because it made me shiver

CBC Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Imo the jury can stay but what exactly is the point of having a jury when it's just a bunch of random nobodies in most countries?

There will be turmoil coming, the backlash already is something that I haven't ever seen, not even in 2015. And yet every country (except Finland) agreed that it deserved points. It's widely loved and no amount of pouting will change that.
Konril Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Ooof... The comments from Eurovision's TikTok account. Loreen earned this win.

Sweetestsecret Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Kaarija won .. yes it's a win..2nd place is really good,I don't know why the meltdowns from the fans.and of course he SLAYED the televote! General public WANTED HIM.He will be iconic just like many other artists who didn't win Eurovision but people still remember them like Eleni foureira,Verka Serduchka. Congratulations to Loreen ,the song was good despite the boring performance.I thought she will be more creative.Euphoria had a dancer on stage, some dance moves, Tattoo had nothing.I hope this is enough for her,she won two times..now it's time for younger artists to shine...I don't understand why some big winners of Eurovision want to go again and again in the competition.they won already, what's the point of doing it again?
FolkLover1989 Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Why is someone who already won is allowed to win again? This is a talent show ,we need new artists to win , very unfair imo

This has literally been a thing since the 1950s.

Loreen is only the second person ever to do it. the woman who won for Israel in 1998 returned in 2011 and failed to qualify for the grand final. the guy that won for Norway in 2009 with a record-breaking score came back a few years ago and finished 15th. Loreen is an exceptional talent.

Only his fans are speculating. (And also Riley) I don't think we outsiders can claim they are gay until they are ready. (So the same "queerbaiting" standard as to Harry Style and Shawn Mendes) There are so many more ACTUAL gays/LGBT+ this year we should give credit to: Loreen is openly bisexual Alessandra is openly bisexual Luke Black is openly gay

I'm curious what she has on the Eurovision jury, because there's no way they thought that song was good. Imagine thinking instead I wrote a song about how you did me wrong is better than tattoo… You’ll never be taken seriously with this comment lol
