any guesses who's the jury winner (sweden?) from the presenting order? We know they like to keep it "suspenseful" by grouping the leads into small segments during the presentation but idk this order seems pretty mixed (people have pointed out that greece, albania and lithuania usually undervalue sweden though). / Obv the winner and host country are first and last this year

this is not fully accurate for when Sweden does undeniably well.

(2012) Euphoria: 10 pts from Lithuania, 5 pts from Albania

(2014) Undo: 7 pts from Lithuania, 7 pts from Albanian jury (they had to use 100% Jury vote that year)

(2015) Heroes: 10 pts from Lithuania, 7 pts from Albania

Why are you all being so dramatic about a wardrobe fail , IN REHARSEL that's the point of REHARSEL TO REHEARSE

The juries vote based off of tonight, so the argument is that jurors would be less likely to vote for Israel due to the mistake.

It is obviously between Finland and Sweden.

I think Spain's the best entry this year, but it's not really a catchy song. It's a beautiful performance, the lyrics are beautiful, the vocals are flawless, she has great stage presence. It'd be amazing for it to reach Top 5.

I just realized the audience and judges have a 50/50 impact on the final score.

IMO she managed to save herself in the last bit.
This might hurt her score, but not too much to ruin her chances of winning. And she won PR favorite for sure by now.

Honestly, this Eurovision this year has kinda been underwhelming that I didn’t bother watching SF2 because I only liked 2-3 songs from there, while SF1 was better.

It’s between Sweden and Finland for the title this year. I feel if either or wins we will probably get a better production and better songs next year (which seems likely from Sweden because the last time they hosted they served with songs and production was top-notch). Spain would be a surprise underdog, because I see it in the Top 5 but it truly depends on its performance tomorrow.

80/20 that Sweden is taking it. Finland has a chance but I think Sweden's consistency with both the televote and jury will make it hard for them to overcome any jury deficit. I love how the whole of Finland is behind Kaarija, it's really great to see (and shows just how relevant Eurovision is even after all these years).

Spain is not winning  it'll probably bomb in the televote and I think it'll even be polarising amongst the jury, it might even struggle to reach the top 10 but honestly it could finish anywhere. The UK's fall from grace has been sad to see, and so has Portugal being forgotten.

Spain isn't seeing top 10 :deadbanana4: gays and press need to stop hyping it up EVERY single year, it's absolutely not happening and is gonna be a massive televote bomb

Girl ate and left no crumbs, those vocals :clap3:

I think Sweden, France & Armenia will have my votes tomorrow. Might throw in some for Slovenia if I feel generous.

I can see Spain stealing some of the jury points. The song kinda is a jury bait and Blanca is simply flawless vocally. So yeah, she will definitely steal some jury points from Loreen.

Posted

I'm still seeing it for Finland winning the entire thing with Sweden ending up second.

Spain might steal jury votes from Loreen and Croatia will steal some televotes from Kaärijä. Especially in some of the Balkan countries and perhaps all the countries close to Russia.

As long as Israel goes top 10, Belgium goes top 15 and Croatia/Spain doesn't touch the top 10 I'll be very satisfied.

My final prediction for Spain's result, despite wanting that La Pichona wins tonight: #7-#8 (220-240 points) :swan:
