yeah 5,000 Eurofans in the arena who voted Kaarija as their number one winner (MyEurovisionScoreboard) means definitely more than the GP checking the song they enjoyed the most or got most shocked by

Just finished watching, and wow, I'm lowkey shocked that Croatia, Serbia, and to a lesser extent Portugal, made it through. My qualifiers (in no order) after watching were Sweden, Finland, Israel, Czech Republic, Moldova, Switzerland, Norway, Malta, Netherlands, and Ireland. I'm honestly heartbroken that Malta didn't make it through, their performance was so cute!

 

But I have to say, Sweden and Israel stanning aside, my favorite performance of the night was Czechia. Something about it touched me profusely... I'm not sure if it was the Ukrainian chorus, the Slavic sisterhood, or something else, but when they finished, I burst into tears  I will be giving them some votes on Saturday!

I haven't thought about it before but I totally see Croatia and Finland splitting votes. I have a feeling Moldova will do super well too

Ireland is THE most embarrassing country in Eurovision right now. Their qualification record is horrendous and I feel like their artists always get themselves involved with some dumb drama after they get eliminated (except for Mother Brooke)

No, but I'm just saying that Youtube views don't mean much these days. Most people have moved to Tiktok. And I don't like that song as a whole either, but the cha cha cha part is infectious.

Remo is a great singer and the staging was done by Sacha Jean-Baptiste, who WILL get a country into the final no matter what. This was a fairly chaotic semi-final too so I'm not surprised the ballad lovers all flocked to this one.

I think Israel and Sweden were the best overall packages of the night.

 

I voted for Sweden and Latvia. Might have also voted for Israel if they weren't bombing Gaza as we speak. people of Palestine clearly don't matter as much as Ukraine did, I wonder why  EBU hypocrisy at its best.
