Watching the clips from today, why is La Zarra kinda out of tune? Also I hate how she cuts the long note short

How come EBU gave them the right to share all of these clips tho? It kinda sends how they're the only ones uploading everything, they're EBU's faves I fear :deadbanana4: apparently they uploaded new clips for all just now but I can't find it, any spaniard got a link?

they only shared clips from today's rehearsal so it's only the countries that performed today / are going to perform tonight and tomorrow in the semi.

Yes, she didn't have a nice run this time around

a small change in the graphics i haven't seen addressed yet is that they removed the hashtags after the country's name (going by the previews posted by RTVE and screenshots from the press).

I know but they shared even more clips besides the ones on twitter, went into their website and I think it's these

Alessandra's whistle note :deadbanana4: it'll be a russian roulette in the finale

The way they forgot Ireland, Latvia and Netherlands :deadbanana2:

Not them always together

the way he keeps queerbaiting and y'all love to eat it up :rip:

Spoiler

I'd do all of them tbh :gaynetcat4:

Yeah La Zarra is giving me mid-table vibes with those vocals and camera shots ngl. Expect the unexpected tbh. I knew standing still on a platform wasn't a good idea. :dancehall:

EBU are such clowns :bibliahh: I honestly expected them to dig in and refuse to revert to the normal announcing, but I guess the  backlash was *that* big + some delegations must have complained as well.

Idk what to make of the press poll, Noa sounded awful and yet she was number third in the voting? I could not believe it. Do gays see a pretty young woman twirling around to an upbeat pop song and just not register anything else but the hair flips?

Okay that clip of France's performance... So awkward :rip:

We got excited a little too so

I just don't understand why they completely let her down like that? Two years ago they had a dull af song and they came up with a brilliant staging idea, even half of the creativity of that one would've been sufficient for this year.

My best guess is that The Black Mamba had a team who was able to pull that out, maybe Mimicat didn't? RTP truly has no money for Eurovision, our government doesn't really care :(

The creative team of the 2021 host broadcaster was HEAVILY involved with creating the staging for The Black Mamba. I listened to a Dutch radio interview with the head of contest and he talked about how that performance came to be. The Portuguese delegation came with a general vibe and the idea to have the performance in 3 parts (black and white beginning, middle section on the main stage, finale on the b-stage). The Rotterdam team then built the entire performance around those ideas.

I have a feeling they might have had a similar approach this year but were unhappy with their stand-in rehearsal and had to pivot to something else last-minute.

If there is a link for the jury show... let me know :gaycat2:

Finland is so winning. Next!

The postcards feel VERY 2016 actually

Alessandra making some... interesting vocal choices

Camerawork and direction are for the most part atrocious and utterly amateurish. :biblio: BBC truly lived up to its colloquial name. :rip: What an absolute disappointment... I have no words.

The stage is also one of the worst we've seen since ...I don't even know when.

Didn’t see the postcards, but it sounds like a serve! That and the flag parade will be best in yearssss.

people have already said this in the past but the press centre results are basically always random af bc it heavily depends on what press is in the media centre, they usually just name their own country and the selection of who gets asked etc is always random and not consistent at all.

I will say that Alessandra was too excited about the live audience, it was messy. Gosh, EBU giving us horrible audio quality

Did Loreen go back to her original outfit?

This sounds terrible. The extended notes, her doing the most... Gurl, just sing the original version and stop trying to make "I will always love you" out of your cute, quick, lil song. :toofunny2:

I don’t see anything wrong with La Zarra’s performance, am I delusional?
