Idk what you guys are on about. The roster of songs is SO much stronger this year compared to 2022.

 

At the same time, and I hate to say it, but I miss Russia. It's the biggest country in Europe and obviously very influential in the eastern part of the continent. Although I definitely agree with the decision to ban them while their invasion is still ongoing, I hope they will be back soon.

I really hope for a Top 5 (or at least Top 10) result for my home country Austria.

I love their song. My other favourites include Serbia and the Czech Republic, but

I wouldn't mind either Finland or Sweden as winners.

Norway is fine, the staging is what you expect with some added floor LED visuals. Alessandra sounded good from what I can tell (audio quality is atrocious)

 

Malta looked GREAT honestly, really surprised me

 

Serbia is what you expect. It doesn't really work for me, but if you like this entry you'll be happy

 

Latvia kind of gives last place so far ngl

 

Portugal well performed but EMPTY

 

Ireland feels very cliché but it might work for some people? I believe the singer is wearing a slightly more flattering jumpsuit now with a different neckline 

 

Alesha Dixon has a little green room segment where she raps about the UK in Eurovision, it's kind of giving Angela Bassett did the thing

Loreen looked great on screen, no need to worry about pictures from the arena 

 

Käärijä visually great but vocally horrendous. He's running all over the stage and it clearly affects his voice.

Loreen's performance isn't giving me winner vibes  Sound mix is horrible, she sounds too shouty and the box is way too small for her to perform. Such a downgrade from Melodifestivalen, sigh.
