Celebs do not want to collab with Iggy Azalea! "maybe I am bad for business"

Or maybe they just don't want to work with you? Not everything is a conspiracy.

Let's be honest, a lot of celebs are not seeking out Iggy of all people for collabs. Besides, those viral videos of her rapping tainted her image.

She's indie anyway so obviously labels aren't going to want their acts working with people who they don't see the financial benefit in.

I legitimately don't know why people stopped checking for her. Even the Black culture appropriation accusations shouldn't have impacted her that much; Eminem managed to make a two decade long career out of that. Hell even Macklemore tried it and had more hits than Iggy did while doing the exact same thing. And now we've got Jack Harlow too. Is it just sexism? :skull:

She had suspect moments, but her downfall was definitely rooted in misogyny and sexism. It's quite a shame because she actually had decent songs.

If the industry doesn’t want “Iggy” anymore, she’d do just fine conceptualising and directing concepts - and writing material - for other artists. She’s a great creative, and clearly values the classic elements of pop culture that ATRL whines about modern “tiktok music” shunning.

Sometimes artists just don’t stick in certain regions, and the USA seems to have a particularly difficult time getting Australian artists to stick for whatever reason.

Still sounding bitter I see lol her music is bad most of the time and she's a flop. Why would big artists want to work with her :gaycat6:

this poor girl was literally given hell all the way into oblivion because of her untimely success, like her career wouldn't have gone down the stoney end had she debuted now that the majority of people recognize wokism for the clownery that it is lmao meanwhile r*pists, woman-beaters, people whose performances have caused the death of a dozen attendees, openly biggoted acts, grown men who date teenagers, debaucherous people..etc all enjoy careers regardless of their mediocrity (so yeah mediocrity isn't the reason iggy is no longer a thing like some gYlies like to pretend on here) :gaycat6:

It’s unfortunate but that the way the music industry is. When you’re hot, everyone wants a piece of you. When you’re not, they”ll pretend you don’t exist

And if you actually listened to her music, you'd see that IOP is very inspired by Iggy. Cardi and her team were amazed by her pen game. There's been strong and convincing rumors that she actually co-wrote Savage by MTS.

What did Cardi say about Iggy

Wait, Iggy ghostwrote Savage?  :chick2:

Yes she said she couldn't stay away from the studio but she's wasn't sure it'll be an album. But she's back on tour.

she's always complaining about this. Girl just let it go :rip: Everyone in entertainment is fake. You aint pulling numbers anymore and everyone only cares about money and what you can bring to the table financially speaking.

She needs to learn from fellow collaborator, law breaker and flop who STILL collects checks on the regular, miss Rita Ora. Rita does not complain, no she doesn't. She just stays silent, blackfishes, waits for the opportunity and BAM you have a headline every few months stating she landed a pretty big gig for a C lister. Iggy should try that strategy and see where it gets her instead of constantly DMing ppl begging for collabs and then moaning about it when they dont want to or ignore her.

The random Rita lashings :rip:

Or maybe she doesn’t have $$$ to pay for some of those larger pop stars or it’s not worth the collaboration. In the end it’s all business anyway.

Like, I bet people like Jennifer Lopez paid good money for Iggy Azalea’s featuring on her songs Booty and Actin’ Like That. Which was when Iggy was at a high point in her career. Same for Iggy on Britney’s Pretty Girl and Ariana’s Problem. However, I doubt that Iggy (now that she’s independent) would shell out the same for a JLo, Britney or Ariana chorus today? And why would they accept that even if she could pay for them, she’s not that popular anymore so why collaborate? These artists may have been friendly when collaborating with her before, but that doesn’t mean they were her friend. Just colleagues working on a track. Lol.

Yep, she was largely pushed by the industry but when that failed they dropped her like they do most everyone else.

I always liked her but when the nicki comparisons started and the hip hop is white hot cover came, I knew it was a done deal.

The thing about the industry for women is, if you're not hoe'n or under someone's wing, you get used and abused.

They'll prop up a sexual abuser before they feature someone that's a social "bad look." Look at the current woke, revolutionary, conscious rap king with the Kodak black attachment, lmao.

There's no credibility in rap, hasn't been for a long time.
