BlackoutZone spilled that Bunny is a rider was supposed to be a lead single for an EP but now she switched and now it's going to be a new album, both Bunny and Billions seem to be making it. I'd bet she'd release it somewhere in the end of the year Edited May 14, 2022 by bestfiction

I'd bet she'd release it somewhere in the end of the year yeah, I assume that it would be a fall release. she also announced the UK/European tour in October, which makes sense. the known tracks are: Bunny Is a Rider Billions Smoke Sunset (could be the next single, since she hinted it during her Coachella set) Edited May 14, 2022 by original_lifeline

If it comes out this year it’s not gonna be anytime soon, she is really taking her time but I guess that’s what perfection takes. We are at least definitely getting Smoke this year as a single and another track that hasn’t been teased/revealed yet

Ms Polachek is a classically trained vocalist I think her voice isn’t for everybody but I really dig how unique her technique is

Akhetamen Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 Hey guys, HUGE fan here. I made this playlist after a lot of people in her discord requested me to compile all her work (been following and archiving her career since 2012, after falling in love with Something, the second Chairlift album) and it literally has everything (that's availabe in spotify) that she's been involved in, be it her own releases, side projects, feats, collabs, songwriting, producing, even backing vocals. And it's all chronologically sorted! Only a handful of songs are missing from spotify which most of them are older releases, some other being more recent bandcamp exclusives. My favorite release from her is still Arcadia (as Ramona Lisa). There's something about how poetic and abstract the lyrics are, the way she created a complete artificial landscape that sounds organic and sort of romantically medieval, half while being on the road on tour and then finishing it on a beautiful villa. It's one of my most listened to albums and it just never ages for me! I loved Billions cause it's the most Ramona Lisa song since Pang <3 It's just incredible how perseverant of a hard worker she is, exploring and creating music and art since 2006, and being able to excel any style and genre through all the almost hundred collaborations she has. Not to mention how humble she is to sometimes work with people who are just starting! I trust this album will be incredible, specially since she's not holding back and going full abstract, nonsensical lyrics on this one unlike Pang which was her way of exploring a much more mainstream or digestible sound. I'm guessing next single is Smoke but since it's the oldest song from the album I'm not sure. Sorry for the huge post! I love this woman lol.
original_lifeline Posted May 22, 2022 Author Posted May 22, 2022 Garbage, Bruises, Moth to a Flame and Romeo are my favs out of Chairlift discography. I don't enjoy it as much as CP solo songs, but they still had a very solid and unique bodies of work

I have huge expectations for the upcoming album! My favorites from each Chairlift album are Planet Health, Turning and Polymorphing. But Something is such a unique and unbelievable album. Since she dated Jorge Elbrecht I doubt she'll work with him ever again but I'd love it so so so so SO much. I'd love her to dare to self-produce, she's got what it takes, she's proven it with Arcadia.
Ewan Chaos Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 I'd kinda hate her if she released Bunny last year, Billions earlier, 2 more singles this year, and then the album coming out next year But I trust her. Something > Pang > Moth >>>> first CL album

It'll definitely be January then :( It's so cool to find someone who also appreciates Something! I kinda hate ratings but if I had to do something like that, I think it'd be Arcadia>Something>Pang>Moth>DYIY>DtTatA, so it's pretty similar <3
