Ukraine was officially neutral for 30 years of independence while Russia poisoned Ukrainian political candidates, stole elections, inserted puppets that went against the will of the people (turning down NATO cooperation in 2010 and increased EU economic cooperation in 2013), and we still ended up being invaded in 2014 and again in 2022. Most of this corruption is clearly tied with Putin’s regime. How much more “neutral” can Ukraine be without being just another irrelevant, ignored region of Russia? That’s what people like you want.
