little legend Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Im surprised that Greece is that high and is on the same leel with the UK. Usually we considered ourselves to be kinda backwards at this and the UK to be like way more progressive related to gay rights, so this info now is really surprising. Italy is too low , but i know this low percentage doesnt reflect how progressive an average italian is, and i am sure that the average italian is as muh progressive as the rest of western europe

Some of the green countries have yet to legalise gay marriage, and their track record of supporting LGBT causes is absolutely dismal. If you think Slovakia and Montenegro are more progressive than the Netherlands or Germany as far as LGBT rights go then I have some news for you but overall Poland definitely ranks among the most homophobic in the EU, followed by Bulgaria and Romania.
