wanderlust Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 To explain the NFT "mother nature" project with artist 'beeple', she went live with him on twitter space last night. As she talked about the charities all proceeds will go to, she got very sensitive and had to pull herself together. We don't often see her this emotional and raw. She cried for a moment talking about the horrors of war, refugees, the children who can't find their parents. she knows what it's like to be a child and lose your mother she's back to her intelligent, wise, and well read quirky self in this. here's the full interview:
ricardoazevedo Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 A good post about Madonna and her project and the usual bimbos trashing her don`t give face here. Good, they learn their lesson, don`t mess with the queen...
Jeremiah Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 Not to downplay what's happening in Ukraine, but it's so "funny" to see these celebrities and leaders get emotional and talk about peace, etc, when war and extreme poor life conditions exist for the longest in other places. I guess it's a thing to care only when it happens in Europe/First world...

I guess that's why Madonna performed as part of Live Aid in 1985 to raise funds for famine in Ethiopia, why she's been building orphanages in Malawi since 2008, why she performed on the Hope for Haiti telethon in 2010, all those first world countires amirite.

The7thStranger Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 I wish the Madonna we've been getting in interviews, particularly since the MDNA era, were the Madonna we got all the time.
Oktober Knight Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 I love seeing this side of Madonna, because it's not often we see her soft side. She truly cares about the world.
chhalamars Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 She choose some interesting charities. I'm glad she used the NFT fad to do something good for the world.
Cameltoe Chariot Posted May 12, 2022 Posted May 12, 2022 This was the most vulnerable, real and normal she has sounded in years! This is the Madonna I fell in love with as a kid... I'll forever be in awe of her philanthropy.

We can't forget Madonna losing her mother at 5 literally shaped her personality as we know it. It's not hard to imagine her as a mother now, putting herself in the place of all mother's that are losing their kids or vice versa... it's called empathy... Also 4 of her kids are adopted from Malawi. Hardly a 1st world country. It's also a place where her foundation opened a hospital and schools. She also opened a school in Pakistan I think?
CBC Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 She has a noble heart. It still sucks that she's involved with NFTs
MadonnasBoyfriend Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 so how do i watch this thing. WTF is an nft and how do i buy this art or whatever
LikeaRebel Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 NFTs are dumb but at least it’s going to a good cause.
spree Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 well a good thing is that eventually NO MATTER WHAT, she will be recognized for her charitable work.
oilheiress Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 Lmaoo at that user suggesting ukraine is a first world country as well as failing to see that leaders' supports is based on geopolitical strategies and not on whether a country is 'european'... wokism rotting brains as per Ot: good for madge!
